First Games of 2021/22 Played

A big weekend for everyone involved with the club as we kicked off the 2021/22 season this past Sunday.

Our newly formed Under 7 Juniors played their very first league match and narrowly lost in a hard fought contest. Despite the result, the boys thoroughly enjoyed playing their first competitive game together.

Under 10 Juniors put in a brilliant performance to win their first game comfortably, with goal scorers coming from all over the pitch and off the bench.

Under 11 United had a tough start with defeat against quality opposition but showed 100% commitment, putting in a shift right to the final whistle.

The season started with a loss for our Under 11 Rangers side, but the team put in a great display to win the second half with plenty of positives for the boys to take forward.

Playing a year up, Under 12 Greens came from behind at half time to claim victory with a last minute winner against really good opposition.

Under 12 Rangers started their season with a comfortable victory on the back of a very good team performance.

In their opener, Under 13 Juniors lost a really tight contest by the odd goal.

Under 13 Rangers put in a great performance to win their first home game of the season. 16 players managed to get on the pitch with everyone enjoying their game-time.

Under 15 Juniors were chasing the game following a slow start but picked up the pace as the game went on, with the team nearly pulling off a great comeback to rescue a draw, slipping to a narrow defeat in their opener.

Well done to all our players, managers and coaches for their efforts this weekend. I think we’re all in agreement that it’s great to see football back for another season!
